Ultrasonic flowmeters E'LEMER FLOMIC et al.
Ultrasonic flowmeters work according to the time-pulse method, in which the fluid flow rate is determined by the time of passage of the ultrasonic signal between two ultrasonic sensors. The transit time is measured in both directions of propagation of the ultrasonic wave (in the direction and against the flow movement), thereby effectively eliminating any asymmetry in the position of the sensors.
